About
I'm Abby, a Minnesota native who has called Denver home for the past five years. My love of murals started long before Scout Hill existed. When I was six or seven, I got to help my mom paint a massive mural in the rural Minnesota town where I grew up, sitting in the dirt adding little flowers and blades of grass along the bottom of the wall.
Years later, I found my way back to mural painting while traveling through Mexico for six months in 2021. That's where Scout Hill Co. grew into what it is today, as a creative home for the murals I was painting alongside freelance illustration and design work, prints, and other pieces I sold through Etsy. That little shop is still around today.
Scout Hill is named after the street I grew up on, a place that holds some of my favorite memories of creativity, play, and making things. As a kid, I'd pull a little red wagon up and down the street selling hand-painted rocks door to door. (Technically, my first sales job :)
Today, I work in tech, but Scout Hill is my creative passion project and a way to stay connected to the part of myself that has always loved making things. I still love to travel, paint, and transform ordinary spaces into places that feel a little more imaginative, memorable, and magical.
Send a photo of the space and we'll come back with a price range and our next open dates.
